Kennedy Space Center

Since December 1968, Kennedy Space Center remains the premiere location for NASA’s Launch Center for Human Space flights and exploration. Going to the Visitor Complex needs to be on your list of “What to do in” the Space Coast. It is divided into Mission Zones where they have grouped attractions and experiences with specific periods of significant achievements in time. Begin your exploration in space!

The Kennedy Space Center opens every at 9am but closing times vary. Get here early if you are planning to attend a special event, tour the facilities or train like an astronaut. Kennedy Space Center is a working spaceflight facility. As a result, all tours and times are subject to change without notice. Get the KSC smartguide to enhance and personalize your space tour. For $9 you can get a rental that works in 8 languages that comes with detailed maps, interesting facts and historical images.

If you get hungry during your journey, The Kennedy Space Center accommodates with four restaurants and three snack stands. Don’t leave any space crumbs. They provide healthy choices, vegetarian options and glutten-free foods. A crew member can assist you with  availability of those dietary needs. “Lunch with an Astronaut” is a special daily experience and we recommend reservations.

Don’t forget to shop for memorabilia. The Kennedy Space Center has the largest Store in space. Come in to activate your Cosmic Quest Badge. Each afternoon, our “Astronaut of the Day” signs autographs. You can get moon landing souvenirs and Apollo program novelties.
